I made this purse using inspiration from the 40’s and 50’s. I needed something similar to white patent leather for the purse flap and this stuff was perfect. Even used a little bit of it for a personalized key fob.

Kid leather, sourced from young goats, features an elegant high shine and a remarkably smooth surface with minimal grain. Its natural firmness allows the leather to maintain shape while staying thin and refined. This balanced structure makes it especially suitable for precision work and durable, polished designs. Ideal for shoes, bags, wallets, and other small leather goods, kid leather offers a luxurious look and feel while providing reliable performance in finely crafted projects.
Kid goat leather is NOT suitable for garments. It can work for appliques, but it's not flexible enough to be used for the body of a jacket or other type of apparel.
